What's on my iPad Mini!

Hey everyone.

Today I'm going to do a What's on my iPad Mini post, as I just really love being nosy and taking a look at other people's iPad homescreens; what backgrounds they have and what apps they have!

My background is off Pinterest and I picked it because its really pretty and I love stars. I also hate having really bright, busy wallpapers as I find it draws attention away from the apps, so this wallpaper is perfect for me! :)

It's the 1st iPad Mini, and I know a lot of people complain about the low resolution display, but it honestly doesn't bother me and I can't really tell the difference between this screen and my iPhone 5c screen! The only problem with my iPad is, as a lot of people have said, the updates tend to slow the older models of Apple's products down after time, so this makes it slightly laggy, but not too much that I can't use it! The only lag really is when I type on the keyboard, sometimes it takes a few seconds when I first start typing for the words to display on the screen. Other than this minor problem, I absolutely love my iPad and it's the perfect size to take with me places!

So, this is my iPad home screen. As you can see, most of the apps I have on this page are the
stock Apple apps, but to make it look a bit different, I added Pinterest on the bottom column. Then
on the bottom panel I added my favourite social networking apps- Twitter, Facebook
and Facebook Messenger, as these are also easy to access because they are always there, whatever page I am on. I don't tend to use the Messages app as I don't know many people with iMessage, and if I want to text, I just use my phone. I also don't really use the Music app as I don't really like listening to music on my iPad, I'd rather listen to it on my phone.

This is the first folder I have on my iPad, which is called TV, and has a little TV emoji next to it! Here, I store YouTube, All 4, Netflix, ITV Hub, and BBC iPlayer as I love catching up on TV whenever I go somewhere. I prefer using these apps than catching up on my laptop, its just much more comfortable to view.

Now, I know this is a really small folder and probably not worth having, but I like being able to see what apps I want to use :) I have Afterlight, which is from my old Apple ID account, so  I didn't have to pay for it again this time as I'd already bought it before. It's a great little app if you want to quickly improve a photograph while on the go. You can add filters, frames, effects; the list goes on! I also have PhotoGrid, mainly for the purpose of putting a coloured frame around my Facebook profile pictures, but nowadays I use Afterlight to insert a frame. I have still got this app though, because if it so happens I want to make a random collage, I can very easily!

Now, THIS folder is my favourite! I just love a good game, especially on my iPad as I can play games for any mood I'm in; whether it's proper gaming or just something to pass the time. I have Piano Tiles, which is SO addictive; Jelly Splash which I absolutely love and find similar to Candy Crush, but better; Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, as I'm a huge fan of the GTA games on PlayStation/Xbox; Magic Piano which is pretty tricky but so fun and you get to play real hit songs! Plants VS Zombies 2; Candy Crush Soda Saga; PipeRoll HD (So addictive); Subway Surfer; Gymnastics (Don't ask); Lego DC (I love DC characters and Lego games!); Rayman Adventures and Trivia Crack.

This is my final folder, for things that don't belong anywhere so I put them in an ETC. Folder!
It contains: Wallpapers; Just Eat; Rightmove (As I love being nosy and looking at houses!); Find iPhone; Google Maps; MailOnline (I love reading the news, and I don't like the Daily Mail but I find it's the easiest to read and navigate through); Kindle (I LOVE Reading!) and Spotify.

That's all for today, but I hope you all enjoyed being nosy and seeing what's inside my iPad Mini!

REVIEW- Rimmel London Colour Precise Eyeliner

Today I am going to be reviewing the Rimmel London Colour Precise Pen eyeliner. I picked this up about a week ago in my local Sainsbury's supermarket, as I really needed a new eyeliner pen but didn't have the time to go into town and go to Boots to get my usual one (Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner). I am not usually a big fan of Rimmel products, as in the past I've found the mascara doesn't do anything for my eyelashes, and the palest foundation is too orange for my skin; but as the choice was between Rimmel and  Max Factor, with the latter being more expensive, I decided to risk it and buy the Rimmel eyeliner, as you can't really go wrong with eyeliner, can you? Wrong.

When I first used the eyeliner, I found that it didn't produce much colour at all. Instead of looking black, as it was supposed to, it looked more of a grey, which was very disappointing. I thought that the pen would be easy to use as well, because of the thin nib, but the nib was actually very bendy and didn't make the line any thinner than my old Collection eyeliner. I had to keep pressing the pen to my eyelid to get even a tiny amount of black to come out, it just wasn't very good at all.

I have ended up having to revert back to the old previous eyeliner I had bought with a christmas voucher, the Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner Pen, which was a lot better and still produces more colour now than the brand new Rimmel one!

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. It wasn't very cheap either, as it was around the £5.00 price mark and I usually pay about £3.00 for the Collection eyeliner.
I would say, save your money and look for another eyeliner, preferably not a Rimmel one!

REVIEW- Dolly's Mixtures Shower Gel in Candy Floss

Not long ago, I was in Asda and was looking for a shower gel that I had heard was really nice; when I came across this. I was instantly drawn to it's pretty, girly packaging and the scents sounded amazing! They had Parma Violets, Fruit Salad, Bubble Gum; I decided to pick the Candy Floss one, as I thought it would smell the nicest, plus the shower gel in the bottle was a pale pink colour, and I love a bit of pink!

I looked at the price and couldn't believe they were only £1 each. What a bargain, they honestly looked like they would be at least £3.00! I first used it when I was in the shower (obviously!) and the smell was amazing, really sweet (which I love) and made me feel all relaxed and cosy, so for that reason I wouldn't really recommend it in the mornings as it will probably make you drift off!

All in all though, I would thoroughly recommend this shower gel. And at £1, you can't really go wrong, can you?!

Old, Embarrassing Photos!

Okay, so as many people will know, I LOVE looking at old photos.
Of me, my family, my boyfriend. I just find it so interesting.
Like a little window into the past. So today, I thought I would share with you
some old photos. Some, pretty embarrassing, as I was quite a strange looking child!
Haha.
Enjoy!

This is me aged 11. I hate this photo, only because I was going through a bit of a tough time with anxiety problems back then. You could tell I was a bit too obsessed with Bratz dolls!

This is me with my Nan's mum (My Great-Nan). She was a wonderful person, so kind and loving, just like my Nan was. She passed away when I was 6, but I still remember what a kind-hearted person she was. I look a bit moody on this photo, probably because my cheeks were red and lips were puffy- NOT a good look! Haha.

This is me aged around 13, on a wall at Burnham-On-Sea in the UK. My Uncle (who loves photography) took this photo. As you can see, back then I had very long hair, before I had it all cut off!

And last but not least, this is a photo I couldn't leave out! This is my mum. She is absolutely amazing, I could NOT ask for a better mum. She has been there for me through thick and thin, and is so caring, understanding, and has a great sense of humour. She's like my best friend. I'm not sure where this photo was taken, but the time was probably around 1996.

Well, hope you enjoyed looking at my old memories. I'll be back with some more interesting posts soon!

REVIEW- Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup: Naked Chocolate Palette

So today, I thought I would review
the Makeup Revolution I Heart
Makeup: Naked Chocolate Palette,
as I had been dying to try it out for so long, since I'd seen everyone raving about it online.

I bought it from Superdrug for £8.00 which I thought was a reasonable price, for such a pretty and decent sized palette. I feel as though it is a cheap dupe of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palettes, and as they are pretty expensive, I thought I would start off with one of these.
First impressions when I brought it home, were that it's a decent sized palette. I thought it would be a lot smaller than it actually is, which I was quite pleased about.
When I opened the palette, I noticed that the colours looked very pigmented but obviously I couldn't tell properly until I had used them! The mirror was also a really good size, it filled the whole palette which I really liked. I then used my eyeshadow brush to apply the eyeshadow (I didn't use the one included as it was a sponge one which I don't like) and found that the (darker) colours were, as I thought,
very pigmented. There were some shimmers as well which I loved,
and they blended out really nicely.

The only bad thing I would say about this product, is that some of the lighter colours don't show up too well, but I suppose that is to be expected for a cheap palette. The palette is also supposed to be scented like chocolate, but if I'm honest I couldn't really make out much of a smell. This doesn't really bother me though, as I didn't buy it for the scent.

Overall I really love this product, and I think the packaging is SO cute! I would totally recommend it, but be quick as it does tend to sell out quite fast!
